Bridal Shower 7.26.08

I haven't felt like blogging lately, but im sure you all want to see the wonderful gifts i received at my bridal shower.

This is Natalie and Kristine: (Nat is my sidekick and Kristine has been a good friend since middle school.)

The wad of bubble gum i ended up with in my mouth after answering questions incorrectly about Hunter. (do you know the game i am talking about???)

In case you are keeping track.... the wedding is in 1 month and 27 days.

New Vacuum.

Our old vacuum died.

It was a "gift" from my parents when we moved into our house over a year ago. It was their old very USED Oreck vacuum. The Oreck had lived a long life and was put to good use. We weren't too upset that we had to buy a new one. Here is the new HOOVER.

Our carpet is HAPPY. :)

I have been a slacker.

I haven't had anything exciting or remotely interesting to say lately.

I have a bridal shower this weekend........ so i will be sure to post pictures and stories about that.

2 months and 1 day til the wedding. (Cause i know you all are counting!)

OMG.

People are so dumb. And watch out.......tomorrow is a FULL MOON. The crazies are definitely out in full force.

I could rant and bitch about a few people that are REALLY CRAZY all the time, but i never know who is REALLY out there reading..... so i wont.

But i will say that i almost got creamed 2 times tonight going to the grocery store. First, i pull into the parking lot pf Mackenthun's and pull through a spot, but then decided i wanted to be able to get at my trunk when i came out so i started to pull forward to a spot where i would be parked nose to nose with another car......well i had to creep forward to see if anyone was coming (i was going like 2 mph) and this car came flying down the aisle of the parking lot. He put his hand up in gesture that i was going to pull out and he wanted me to stop. WTF, he was the one WHIPPING down the aisle. I gave him a nasty look and pulled out behind him to park. As he continued down the row, he had his hand up out his sunroof, again WTF!!!!!!!!! So i go into the store, and apparently no matter how hard i tried to stay OUT of people's way i seemed to be IN everyones way. I am very conscious of where my cart is, and i always make sure to be tucked to one side. But yep i got dirty looks from the middle-of-the-aisle-parked-cart-stand-next-to-the-cart-people as i shopped. I somehow managed to finish my shopping and head to the self checkout. I like the self check out because i dont want to talk to the idiot cashiers. As i am checking out, the damn thing talks to me and tells me i need to bag my groceries before i can scan any more (have you heard the thing talk????) so i grab my purse and head to the end of the checkout to bag what i have scanned. Needless to say a cashier comes over to help me, i dont need help!!!!!!!!! i just want to check myself out, if i wanted your help i would have come to your lane!!!!! ** sorry i am fired up** She ended up bagging all my groceries for me.........fine, great, good. BUT I LIKE TO BAG MY OWN GROCERIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
I finish, 120 dollars later and head to my car. I love my new car! :) I love how it stores the grocery bags nicely in the hatchback trunk. I am a housewife at heart! ;) I get in and head the mile drive home. I am going to turn onto the street that our driveway is on (our house is the first immediate driveway on the left) and the sun is setting so it was kind of bright - note that our house faces west and i was driving east-- a young punk kid in his Explorer is whipping down the street and nearly takes off my front end as i turn. And yes, i gave him some choice words and a evil eye. I drove 2 miles round trip and i still couldn't avoid the crazies.

BEWARE, TOMORROW WILL BE WORSE!!!!!!!

We have a cat named Bouly.

I dont think i have posted about Bouly (Bou-cat, Boula, Keeker, Squeaker.... and tons of other names!)

I (Hunter likes to take partial credit) rescued Bouly from the breeze way of the SLP Byerly's back in 2005 while i was managing the Caribou there. Someone ditched her there and she needed a good home. Being the cat lover i am, i HAD to bring her home. I named her after CariBOU and ByerLY's since that is were we first met. She was only about 6 months old.

Hunter and I spoil her and love her unconditionally even though she bites, meows and attacks us at all hours of the night. :)

I forgot to post about our visit to Red Wing....

On July 5th, we decided to head down to Red Wing, Mn for a little day trip. Hunter's friend Greg lives down there with his wife and daughter, so we thought maybe he would be available to get together........WRONG-O. Too busy for us, but that didn't stop us from exploring the area and takin some cool pics! :)Driving up to Memorial Park^

Nothing happening around here lately, Hunter is still in KC. I guess i am starting to miss him ;) (JK Love you baby!!!) We have tons of wedding stuff to accomplish, so i am excited to have him back this weekend and get some things off my list!!

I was gone ALL day. Just got home and it's midnight. It is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY past my bedtime.

More Crazy weather....

I have some awesome pics of the storm that rolled thru tonight. I was at my parents house and decided to tuck myself and my car there to wait the storm out. Just got home now and i am too tired to post pics! I will try to post some tomorrow night!!!

Stormy Weather

Crazy weather again today.... the green sky moved in about 1245pm. It rained, it poured, it HAILEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. No damage to my new car, which i am happy to report.

When i got home, our garbage can was missing (Thursday is garbage day). I ended up grabbing the one that was in the neighbors yard... i hope it was ours!! haha

Tomorrow is Friday! I am very happy about that. Saturday, i have my first dress fitting. I would like to say i will post pics, but Hunter reads this so if you wanna see, email me and i will be happy to send you some pics (assuming i get some good ones and the dress fits! :P)

Fletchers (Monday Funday)

So every Monday night at Lord Fletcher's on Lake Minnetonka, there are .40 cent beer and $4 burgers. My friend Alyssa and I have gone the past 2 Monday nights.

Last night, the weather was kinda crazy... all of a sudden it was raining really hard and people had to take cover. We were entertained (we were under an awning and didn't get wet) I even video taped it, but for some reason it wont load.

Happy 4th of July

Hunter got home last night from being in Kansas City for 4 days.

Today we are going to my brothers for a BBQ and hang out on the lake. We will prob head over to my friend Alyssa's for fireworks. She lives on Lake Minnetonka and can see the Excelsior Fireworks from the yard.

I hopefully will get some good pics!!
