Thankful

I am thankful that i am home safe early on in this lovely winter storm we have going on here. I am also thankful that i do not have to travel at all for the next 4 days! :) I am thankful as always for my family and close friends!!

Twins Game # 2

Friday July 2nd we went to our second Twins game. The game was the kick off to our 8 day road trip/vacation. After the game there was fireworks (for the 4th celebration) which was really cool, they turned off all of the lights at the stadium and even let some people go onto the field. Our seats were prime to watch the fireworks tho!

We dont have any more tickets for this season, but hope to go again if possible. We have friends with season tickets and are due to have a baby anyday, so they have offered to sell us some of their September game tickets! Hopefully we can go again!!

Okay okay, I will blog!

After thousands of requests (HAHA) to update my blog, i finally will do it. I am kidding, no one ever asks where i am or why i am not blogging. I like to think SOMEONE out there does read this and does wonder if i am ever going to blog again! :)

First on the list is my birthday. Turning 29 really isn't all the exciting, i am feeling a bit older and a bit behind on my "life plan" but here i am in my 29th year. As i have aged, i dont really desire to have a huge birthday bash, so we just went out to dinner with my family. We went to a favorite restaurant of mine, Sunsets. The food there is always good and it's on Lake Minnetonka (another fave) so we had a nice view and location for a walk afterwards.

We had a photo shoot at the public dock in Wayzata ( will spare you Chad's many modeling shots) here are the 4 "kids":I should also mention that i received an Electric Skillet from my parents. I LOVE cooking in the skillet. I know it's not that different from the stove, but i just love it so, it's so easy to use!!! Overall, the 29th year has been good to me so far!! :)

Lots to blog about, just haven't done it!

new phone! Blogger app installed

I just got a new phone and decided that I should install a Blogger app so that I can more easily update and post. we will see if that happens, haha. for now this post is a test to make sure it works!

Twins Game!

We finally got to go to the new Target Field!!! :) It is pretty cool, there was lots to look at and i found i wasn't too focused on the game. The Twins did win though! Here are some pics:

Katie and I became friends in high school-- 12 years (or so!) ago-holy cow that seems like a long time ago, when we both worked at Caribou in Wayzata Lunds. We always joked that we were twins since our birthdays were so close together. While i dont see Katie very often :( i still think about her often and especially today!

I LOVE SUMMER!

Most of you probably know this, but i struggle through winter every year. I love summer, sun and being on the lake or outside for the warm weather!!!

I am so happy the warmth is here for me to enjoy!!! I hope it stays all summer long!!

Baby Craze

AHHHHH Too many women i know are preggo!!! It makes me want want to be too!!! I hope someone i know waits for me so i can have a preggo buddy! :)

Bathroom Makeover!

(i dont know why this is underlined and i can't make it go away..)

I wanted to paint the bathroom for sometime now, we had swatches of paint all over the bathroom for a week or two. We decided on a milk chocolate color called "Sueded Leather". I forgot to take a real "before" picture, so here is the bathroom after we took everything down and taped.

After we painted, i of course wanted NEW stuff to go in! :) Actually we had been wanting a new light fixture for months, but I hadn't found one i liked. While we were painting we decided we should look again so we could swap out the lighting when we put everything back in order. We also ended up getting a new shower curtain, towels and cabinet! Here is the finished product:I want to get some sink accessories (soap dispenser, toothbrush holder etc), but haven't found the perfect stuff just yet. I also already got a basket to go between the sinks for decor.

Marco requested that i blog, cause he will read.

As you may or may not know, i have lost 30.5 (gotta have the half!!) pounds since Septemeber. I haven't really been talking about it to anyone (other that my immediate fam and bff) cause i am doing this FOR ME, no one else and have no need to brag or talk about it all the time, ya know. Obviously if someone asks, i will explain, but no one asks since it's a sensitive subject :P

New Hair!

Well, again i am slacking on blogs. We really are boring, really! Here is the latest.... i have gone BRUNETTE! :) I am pretty sure my 4 readers know this already, cause i already posted it on FB. In case you missed it.... here are some pictures:

NYE

I was house sitting and we (my friend's who's parents house I was at and I) threw a party. It was all of her friends that came, and Hunter. They are all 23ish and i sorta regret having a party there since i ended up doing all the clean up. Live and Learn. :) Here are some pictures:
