Winter Escape...

Well not really, but i am staying at my "lake house" til Saturday.

I have some Christmas Eve pics to post.

SNOW

We are smiling, but im not so sure as to WHY. I guess we were too cold and snowed on to stray from the norm.

I HATE THIS CRAP!!!! Snow has kept us in the house all day (except to go to the mail box). We had plans to go to a holiday party tonight, but because of the blizzard type conditions, we will stay in. DUMB!

So i was driving home today thinking about what all has happened this year.... Let's see if i can come up with something for each month:

Jan- We had our engagement pictures taken.

And we went to Stillwater/Woodbury for Hunter's work holiday party. We did some sight seeing while there...
Feb- Nothing too exciting..But my best friend/sidekick came over to hang out!

We also bought a LCD 42 inch TV

March- We went to the Auto Show and i believe this was the month I bought a Wii for Hunter (we called it his birthday present). Hunter injured him self in the middle of the night.
April-- We had a food tasting for the wedding and ordered our wedding cake.

May-- Lots of things happened in May.... we hosted Mother's day at our house. It was our 1 year anniversary of owning our house andddddddd CHAD AND ANGY got married.
June--- I celebrated my 27th birthday and there were more weddings-Neal and Jackie got married on the 7th Dawn and Bob got married on the 13th. I also bought my new car!!! Here is Zoomie in case you have forgotten what he looks like! :)

July was basically filled with enjoying the summer. Time on the lake and hangin with friends. I also had my first bridal shower and dress fitting.
August was Dad's 60th birthday. We were still enjoying the summer on the lake and with friends. I had my Bach party and a second bridal shower.


September was filled with more wedding excitement. Kristine and Dan got married Sept 6th. Hunter had his Bach party on the 13th and then we got married on the 27th!!! :) Also in Sept was the running of the llamas in Hammond Wisconsin.

October went fast as Hunter was traveling for 3 weeks for work. I also was at my "lake house" for a week.

November was Chad's 30th birthday and our first time hosting Thanksgiving.
Isn't my family attractive-- atleast Grandma looks good! :)

Now it's December, we have had snow, cold and holiday fun.

Looking ahead to 2009, there will be lots of babies born and i am definitely looking forward to having a family of my own too!

Baby Shower

Last Saturday, I hosted a baby shower for my friend Kristine.... some of the decorations.

We ate, played some games and chatted. A good time was had by everyone (or atleast i hope!)

Kristine is due Jan 1 and doesn't know if it's a boy or girl. I am very excited to meet the baby! :)

I jinxed it

First week of December and we got DUMPED ON WITH SNOW!!!!!!!!!! YUCK.

I shoveled our short sidewalk today and it was deeper than i thought it would be. I can count that as a work out right?

Nothing like some snow to start off Dec.

Remember last year this time??? I do....
We got dumped on the first weekend of December. Let's hope that doesnt happen again! :)
