Vinton is here! :)

After being diagnosed with Preeclampsia at my dr appt on Wed, i was induced on Thursday evening. When nothing changed (cervix didn't want to cooperate) by Friday afternoon, i elected to have a c-section.

Vinton James was born at 624pm 3/18/11....
5 lbs 7 oz 19 inches

55 days but who's counting ;)

Things I miss (in no particular order):

Wearing my wedding rings
SLEEP
Wearing shoes
Pants that BUTTON
Shaving my legs and not missing everywhere
Wearing hoodies (i have some that still fit, but don't fit under my winter coat)
Zipping my winter coat
Being able to lay on my stomach
SLEEP
Being able to stand up without having to pee
Going up the stairs without getting winded
My "skinny" body
SLEEP
SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP! :)

Getting Closer...

The countdown is at 61 days.... I am ready to be done being pregnant, but i can't really say we are ready to have the baby here. Seems like there is so much we still need. I will be happy to make it at least through March before the baby arrives and as of now there are no signs that i would deliver early anyway....

80 Days!

I have a feeling that February will go fast! YIPEEEEEEEEE, but also scary to think that in less than 12 weeks we will have a new baby. I still haven't quite wrapped my brain around that, i have no clue in how to care for an infant and really cannot imagine my life with one. I guess we will just wing it, right!!??!

I am so ready for spring-- for many reasons, mostly that my winter coat (the warm North Face one) is getting close to not zipping up around my belly and i have very few shoes that fit. I think i will have to go from my furry boots (i should mention that i had to buy new boots because one day my old boots just didn't go on my foot anymore) to flip flops! :) Oh April, spring, rain and warmth, please come quickly! :)

28 weeks:

Let the count down begin!

I have 87 days until my due date. I know that in the next 3 months, i will get a lot larger than i already am :( I seriously do not know how people have babies one after another.... pregnancy just isn't my thing i guess.

I am happy that the baby and I are both healthy, but April can't come soon enough! :)
